Indigo Collaborative Event: Driving Design, Gaming & Education Innovation

Indigo recently hosted an interactive session with university HODs and academic leaders from Riphah International University, SZABIST, Women University, and AIOU to discuss the future of design, gaming, and education. The event focused on bridging gaps between students, professionals, and the wider community while fostering creativity, innovation, and collaboration across generations.

Event Highlights:

1. Sponsorship & Education Initiatives
   University HODs expressed strong interest in organizing the Indigo GALA, an event where parents and children experience gameplay together, helping minimize generational gaps and promoting creativity.
   Discussions included transforming academic studios into professional-ready spaces, preparing students for real-world challenges.
   Indigo will support universities by:

• Enhancing their courses
• Delivering lectures
• Helping students secure internships
  This ensures students gain practical experience while bridging the gap between education and professional gaming/design careers.

1. Gaming Studio & Development Focus
   Teams explored improvements to existing game setups and practical solutions for common development challenges.
   Topics included:

• Customized solutions for specific sectors
• Educational gamification
• Game development, story and character design
• World set design and quests as journeys of self-discovery
  The session also highlighted building a centralized solutions repository and fostering the Art for Development Collective to encourage collaborative creative thinking.
